What does an emotionally stable person look like?

When you are grieving, you surely don’t want to add more burden to your daily life. It is truly important who surrounds us, who supports us, or who drags our energy down.
 

In this article, I wanted to create a short list of behaviors a true friend owns. 
If you want to surround yourself with good people only, this is how you can recognize an emotionally safe person:

1. They will always respect your need for privacy. True friendship isn't measured by the time you spend together, but actually by the quality of it. Good people will respect your privacy, and won't force you to talk about the things you don't want or are not ready for. 

2. You will always feel relaxed around them. The emotionally safe person won't expect you to behave in a way they have imagined. They will let you be your true self. Listen to your intuition - what does it tell you about that person? We can always feel if someone is good for us or not. 

3. They don't judge. The third thing is that a good person is someone you can share anything with, yet they won't judge.

4. When you are with them, your guards are down. You don't feel the urge to defend yourself and explain everything you did or said. 

5. Expressing your feelings. I have already said that they won't force you to talk about the things you don't want and are not ready for, yet when you want to express your feelings, you will be safe around them. They will encourage you to feel what you feel without looking awkward. 

These top 5 signs truly represent a good person, a great friend, someone you can count on and rely on, as well as a completely emotionally safe person.

It would be great if we all were those people - set an example for others to follow. Inspire others!
