What works for me is to count to ten and practice deep breathing. I have realized that when anxiety hits, I usually breathe shortly, and not from the stomach - as it is advised. To breathe naturally - the best is to watch babies breathe - that's how we should do it. Adults usually forget to breathe deeply due to daily stress.
Let's create a topic where we can share some of the best tips to overcome panic attacks. One of the tricks that has worked best for me so far is:
-When you have a panic attack, immediately start counting something that surrounds you. For example, you can always try to find 10 red things around yourself or any other color. This will distract your mind from panic attacks and will make your brain start living in reality once again.
Please share what works for you 🙌
